LONDON (MarketWatch) — Ireland is likely to tap loans worth tens of billions of euros from the European Union and International Monetary Fund, Irish Central Bank Governor Patrick Honohan said Thursday in an interview with state broadcaster RTE. Honohan said talks between the Irish government and officials from the IMF, European Central Bank and the European would likely result in a loan being offered to Ireland that the government would have to accept, RTE reported.
