German business software giant SAP AG (SAP) Wednesday reported higher profit for the third quarter as revenues improved year-over-year, with particular strength witnessed in the U.S. and the emerging markets of Asia, Europe and Latin America.The company also reaffirmed its outlook for fiscal year 2010. Announcing the preliminary results for the quarter ended September 30, SAP said that on the basis of International Financial Reporting Standards profit attributable rose 12% to EUR 500 million.
